DFW Cable Branch Box

The DFW Cable Branch Box is a cable engineering device used in power distribution network systems in recent years. Its main features include bidirectional opening, the use of butt-joint conduits as connecting busbars, and significant advantages such as short length, clear cable arrangement, and no need for large-span crossings for three-core cables. The cable joints used conform to DIN47636 standards. Generally, 630A rated current bolt-fixed cable joints are used.

Standards Implemented

1. Ambient Temperature: Maximum temperature: +40℃, Minimum temperature: -30℃

2. Installation Environment: The surrounding air should be free from significant pollution by corrosive, flammable gases, water vapor, etc., and the installation site should be free from severe vibration.

3. Installation Site Inclination: Not greater than 3 degrees.

4. Wind speed: Equivalent to 34 m/s (not exceeding 700 Pa)

5. Humidity: Average daily relative humidity not exceeding 95%, average monthly relative humidity not exceeding 95%

6. Vibration resistance: Horizontal acceleration not exceeding 0.4 m/s², vertical acceleration not exceeding 0.15 m/s²

DFW Cable Branch Box features an outdoor design, fully sealed structure, full insulation, dustproof, moisture-proof, flood-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and strong environmental adaptability. The enclosure protection rating reaches IP33. The cable connector bracket is made of stainless steel, and the outer shell is made of stainless steel plate or cold-rolled plate with a powder coating.

The cable joint bracket is located at the top of the DFW low-voltage cable branch box to support the bushing, which in turn secures the cable joint. If a surge arrester is included, it is installed at the end of the cable joint. Additionally, short-circuit fault indicators and live-line displays are also housed within the junction box. All live components of the main circuits within the box are insulated with prefabricated insert-type cable terminations. Cable dividers are located at the bottom of the box and include cable clamps and grounding terminals. The box features a rational layout, small size, compact structure, attractive appearance, simple installation, and requires no maintenance.
