Miniature circuit breakers, the basic components of such switchboards, provide the function of protecting electrical circuits from overcurrent, short circuit and overload hazards. Ceho is a China manufacturer of customized solutions for MCB, as well as one-stop electrical system configuration products, ACB, MCCB, transformers, switchgear, etc., all of which we can provide.
MCB is an automatically operated electrical switch, which is very different from the traditional fuse that must be replaced after one-time use. After tripping, it can be manually reset, which will be more convenient and cost-effective. A little bit more, its core functions include overload protection and short-circuit protection, all of which improve safety and stability.
Overload, when too many appliances are connected to the same circuit, causing the current to exceed the rated value for a long time, in order to avoid deeper damage, MCB will trip.
Short circuits, when extremely high current surges occur due to different fault causes, will also trigger tripping.
Ceho has also encountered this problem from our customers and asked us for technical support, which is absolutely no problem, but in order to confirm the problem faster, we will also share some ways to judge with you. If tripping continues, first confirm whether it is overload or short circuit. Unplug all electrical plugs on this circuit and plug them back one by one after resetting the MCB.
When no electrical appliance is connected to the MCB, if it trips, it may be a line fault. If the trip occurs when a particular appliance is used, it is likely that the corresponding appliance is faulty or that the total load exceeds the rated value.
Do not repeatedly reset an immediately tripped MCB as this indicates a serious fault.
