● Fuse

The high voltage side of American Pre-installed Box-Type Substation adopts backup protection fuse and plug-in fuse in series for full range protection.The backup protection fuse is an oil-immersed high-voltage current-limiting fuse with large breaking capacity.Plug-in fuses will only start when there is a fault inside the transformer. The dual-induction fuse can provide dual protection for current and temperature. If it is blown, the fuse core can be easily replaced on site.

Structure and operation sequence

1. The layout

The shape and structure of American Pre-installed Box-Type Substation is shown below.The tank is divided into the upper high-pressure tank and the lower transformer tank.These two parts are only electrically connected and the oil does not circulate.Among them,"I" and "I" lines are ring network feeders,"ll" branch is transformer branch, and "V" is low voltage output.

The substation can be used for ring network power supply system and terminal power supply system.The feed of the line and the "l III" branch is switched by the load switch of the ring network.At the same time, the high-voltage side of the transformer is equipped with a fuse at the incoming end, which can protect the branch circuit and avoid short-circuit fault, overload and over-temperature.You can also choose to install high-voltage display devices and lightning arresters.and the low-voltage end of the transformer is output after passing through the ammeter and the low-voltage circuit breaker.

2. The transformer

For American Pre-installed Box-Type Substations, we use the new S9 and S11 series three-phase oil-immersed transformers with low no-load losses, low temperature rise, low noise and low height. Both no-load losses and load losses are lower than those of the original S9 transformer.

The transformer adopts a fully sealed structure to effectively isolate air pollution and moisture. A 40-90mm air cushion is left at the top of the oil tank, which together with the corrugated structure of the oil tank shell plays a role in cooling and reducing internal pressure.
